Cecilia Pulido

has been in the natural health & fitness industry since the early 1990’s. She has  studied and taught many different genres of exercise and movement. Mari Winsor was her first exposure to the Pilates Method.  While living in Puerto Rico she studied at Pilates y Mas, part of Ballet Concierto, the school founded by Ms.Lolita San Miguel, and studied with Ms. San Miguel herself. Shortly thereafter, she entered the comprehensive foundation and Mat program of Polestar Pilates in 2010. In 2015 she entered the Lolita Legacy Program and traveled every 8 weeks to West Palm Beach, Florida to continue her Pilates education. Among her teachers included Danielle Armstrong, who was both classical and contemporary trained, and an instructor of Ms. San Miguel as well as a student of the late Romana Kryzanowska.

She graduated the 500+ hour comprehensive program, and then was invited back to attend the Pilates Master Mentor Program (PMMP) in which Ms. San Miguel, taught the group of 6 mentees personally. As a requirement to graduate the PMMP, she devised a format for ‘complex case programming’ to be used by any instructor as a protocol in working with intricate and complex health conditions, using the subject of Pilates for Parkinson’s Disease and Scoliosis as an example. In 2019 she completed the 3rd and final phase of the Lolita Legacy Educator Training Program, and is now one of a few licensed Legacy Instructors in the world, authorized by Ms. San Miguel to carry on and deliver her 500+ hour Comprehensive Teacher Training Program, and now carries the title of 2nd Generation Pilates Teacher. In 2017-2018 she also studied and completed a specialization with internationally renowned author and Scoliosis specialist, Dr. Suzanne Martin, and received certification for Scoliosis and Spinal Asymmetry. She has studied with many other notable Master Pilates Teachers.

In addition to being a long time instructor of fitness, she has earned significant ranks as a Kettlebell Master Trainer specializing in large group Kettlebell classes, is a TRX Black and Yellow instructor (Teacher Trainer Team), and is 3rd degree black belted in the PaKua Chinese knowledge which includes martial arts, Sintonia Chinese Yoga, Tai Chi, and Ritmo (martial arts dance).

Her firm belief in teaching the importance of proper kinematics before anything else, and fine attention to form continue to define her teaching style and work.  She has worked with special populations including those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, Obesity, Severe Diabetes, Scoliosis and Spinal Asymmetries, Opioid Rehabilitation, Cancer, and Parkinson’s Disease.  Currently her work is focused on Pilates4Parkinson's exercise and movement programming.
