WHAT PEOPLE SAY

ROSE P.
Cecilia is an amazing Pilates instructor! I knew I wanted to be in her class from the get-go. During each class, she encourages you to do all that you can and will guide you if you're having trouble with anything. It has been such a pleasure to be in her class! Thank you Cecilia!

WOOMI S.
What impresses me most about Cecilia as a Pilates instructor is her genuine passion to improve others’ well-being along with her
enthusiasm for continuous learning. Since I have been working with her in the past 3+ years, I have noticed better balances & postures and increased endurance. I have also experienced reduced pain on my femur where I had surgery years ago due to a bicycle crash. I highly recommend working with her if you are interested in taking Pilates lessons. She’s one of the best instructors!!! Thanks! Woomi

JACKIE A.
Cecilia’s passion for movement makes her an exemplary teacher. Her knowledge of body mechanics guarantees every class will be unique and fulfilling. I know her students would agree that her motivational teaching style promotes both healing and well-Being. Thank you, Cecilia!
What is Pilates?

The Pilates Method is a low impact form of exercise which focuses on training proper alignment, control, precision, and coordinated breath work, while improving flexibility and building strength throughout the body, and in particular the "CORE". The CORE is comprised of the abdominal and lumbo-pelvic hip region of the torso.
Pilates work is progressive and mindful, with each movement carefully executed yielding it's own benefits, and as part of a foundational structure for more complex movements later. Pilates exercise is a great place to start whether you are a complete beginner wanting to improve your mobility and strength, have advanced movement experience with a specific goal in mind, or need support rehabilitating post physical therapy.
A consistent Pilates practice helps one to attain a more supple, strong, and composed body.

Our Story

Pilates AURA acknowledges that every person is perfectly unique; and we strive to evoke the best possible movement from each individual. We. We support that everyone can begin from wherever they are in their movement journey, and from that point, work together with us to improve and optimize movement patterns (good kinematics), improve strength, balance, coordination and flexibility.
Our Pilates based workouts also incorporate various other fitness training modalities. All movement and exercise are guided by the Pilates principles to formulate corrective and progressive exercise continuums, based on anatomy, physiology, neuro-myofascial work, scientific based research, and practicality.
As we become stronger, more agile, and confident, we begin to move with more lightness and ease. This is what we refer to as the Luminance of Movement.
